Uzbekistan establishes diplomatic relations with Botswana
Uzbekistan has officially established diplomatic relations with Botswana, a nation located in Southern Africa, marking its 153rd diplomatic partnership.
A Joint Communiqué was signed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and Botswana’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lemogang Kwape, during a formal meeting. The agreement signifies a new chapter of cooperation between the two countries.
"We highly value Botswana’s rapid economic growth over the years," said Saidov, praising the Southern African nation’s progress.
Both sides agreed to promote more active collaboration between public and private sector representatives from Uzbekistan and Botswana, paving the way for increased economic and diplomatic engagement.
