Major fire breaks out at Tashkent State Agrarian University
A large fire broke out at the Tashkent State Agrarian University in the Kibray district of Tashkent region, severely affecting multiple buildings on the university's campus.
Videos circulating on social media show the fire engulfing several buildings, which some sources suggest may include student dormitories. The Ministry of Emergency Situations provided preliminary information on the incident.
“At 20:10 on September 30, a report was received about a fire at a building located within the Tashkent State Agrarian University, in the Kibray district of Tashkent region. Firefighters arrived at the scene at 20:17 and are actively working to contain and extinguish the fire. The situation is currently under full control,” the ministry stated.
No reports of injuries or fatalities have been confirmed. Authorities are expected to release further updates as more information becomes available.
