Flight from Tel Aviv to Uzbekistan delayed due to Middle East tensions
Uzbekistan Airways has announced the postponement of flight HY304, which was scheduled to depart from Tel Aviv to Samarkand and Tashkent, citing safety concerns related to escalating tensions in the Middle East. The flight, originally set for October 1, 2024, was delayed due to the partial closure of airspace in the region.
According to Uzbekistan Airways, the decision was made in light of the deteriorating security situation and the closure of a portion of Middle Eastern airspace. The airline emphasized that the safety of passengers and crew remains a top priority, and the delay is a precautionary measure to ensure secure flight operations.
The revised schedule for the flight indicated that the plane would arrive in Samarkand and then in Tashkent in the morning of October 2.
