According to a statement from the company's press service, the first container block train departed from the city of Wuxi on September 20, carrying 100 twenty-foot containers loaded with sheet steel. The journey covered a distance of 4,650 kilometers, taking nine days to traverse through key locations, including Xi'an and Turfan, before crossing the border into Kazakhstan at the Altynköl checkpoint. The train then arrived at the logistics center in Margilan.

In addition to this new route, Uztemiryulkontainer operates block trains from various cities in China to four other destinations in Uzbekistan: Tashkent, Jizzakh, Asaka, and Termez. A subsidiary of "Uzbekiston Temir Yullari," the company is actively working on launching additional routes to enhance its logistics capabilities.

Notably, in August, the first freight train arrived in Uzbekistan from India. Containers were transported from the ports of Mundra, Navi Mumbai (Jawaharlal Nehru Port), and Chennai to the Iranian port of Bandar Abbas, where they were transferred onto railway platforms. These containers then made their way to the Turkmenistan border before being reloaded onto Uztemiryulkontainer platforms, compatible with Uzbekistan's rail system (1520 mm), and subsequently sent to the Sergeli station. The entire journey took 20 days.
