US dollar exchange rate nearing 12,900 UZS mark

On October 8, several commercial banks in Uzbekistan set the selling rate of the US dollar at 12,855 UZS, reflecting a notable adjustment in the exchange rate.

As of October 8, the buying rate for the dollar in banks ranges from 12,735 to 12,770 UZS, while the selling rate fluctuates between 12,800 and 12,855 UZS.

The following banks have updated their exchange rates:

• Invest Finance Bank, KDB: Buying rate – 12,735 UZS, Selling rate – 12,855 UZS
• Garant Bank: Buying rate – 12,750 UZS, Selling rate – 12,855 UZS
• Turonbank, Mikrokreditbank: Buying rate – 12,750 UZS, Selling rate – 12,850 UZS

For reference, the official exchange rate set by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on October 8 stands at 12,794.88 UZS per US dollar.
