Veolia Energy: Heating season in Tashkent to begin after cold spell reaches threshold
Veolia Energy Tashkent, the city's primary heating service provider, has clarified the conditions under which the heating season will begin in the capital. The announcement comes amid growing public concern, as residents face colder weather and prolonged rainfall.

Due to the sudden cold snap and heavy rainfall, many Tashkent residents have been eager to know when the heating system will be activated. Some social media users have speculated that heating might not be available until mid-November.
In response, Veolia Energy Tashkent's press service confirmed that the heating will be turned on once an official decision is issued by the Tashkent city administration. Additionally, the company reminded residents that, according to a Cabinet of Ministers resolution, the heating season will commence after five consecutive days with an average daily temperature below +8°C.
“We will promptly inform you of the exact date when the heating system will be activated,” Veolia Energy Tashkent assured the public.
