Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrives in Kyrgyzstan for Turkic States summit
The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev arrived in Bishkek on a working visit to participate in the upcoming 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), scheduled for November 6. Upon his arrival at Manas International Airport, President Mirziyoyev was welcomed by Akylbek Japarov, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan.

The summit, hosted by Kyrgyzstan, will bring together the leaders of five member countries — Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Turkey — as well as observer states. The leaders are expected to discuss a range of strategic issues, focusing on strengthening cooperation and fostering unity within the Turkic-speaking world.
One of the anticipated outcomes of the summit is the adoption of several joint resolutions and documents aimed at enhancing collaboration. Notably, the leaders are expected to ratify the “Charter of the Turkic World,” an initiative proposed by Uzbekistan. The charter aims to provide a foundation for cultural, economic, and political ties among the Turkic nations, reinforcing their shared heritage and future goals.
The 11th OTS Summit underscores the commitment of member states to strengthen regional alliances, bolstering cooperation and unity across the Turkic world.
