Saudi low-cost airline Flyadeal gains approval for regular flights to Uzbekistan
Flyadeal, a Saudi Arabian low-cost airline, has received authorization to operate regular flights between Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan, connecting the cities of Jeddah and Medina with Tashkent and Namangan.
This development, reported by Uzbekistan's aviation authority “Uzaviation Agency,” comes as part of a bilateral air travel agreement between Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia.
Under the terms of the intergovernmental Air Transport Agreement, formalized on November 14, 2024, the Uzaviation Agency granted Flyadeal permission to conduct flights along the Jeddah-Tashkent-Jeddah, Medina-Tashkent-Medina, and Jeddah-Namangan-Jeddah routes.
Flyadeal will use Airbus A320 aircraft to operate flights between the two countries.
