Thick fog disrupts operations at Tashkent International Airport, flights diverted
Thick fog over Tashkent International Airport has led to restrictions on incoming flights, forcing several planes to be diverted to alternate airports, according to the airport administration.

The following flights were redirected to Samarkand’s alternate airfield:
• Silk Avia’s US402 flight from Fergana to Tashkent.
• Uzbekistan Airways’ HY778 flight from Bishkek to Tashkent.
• UTair’s UTA-709 flight from Surgut to Tashkent.
• Centrum Air’s MFX-352 flight from Dubai to Tashkent.
Additionally, Uzbekistan Airways’ HY9702 flight from Grozny was rerouted to Bukhara’s alternate airfield.
Airport authorities have not provided a timeline for the resumption of normal operations, citing the persistence of adverse weather conditions. Passengers are advised to stay informed through official airline updates and contact their carriers for revised schedules.
