Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan sign cooperation program for 2025–2026
The Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan have signed two major agreements, including a Cooperation Program for 2025–2026 and a Protocol on the Inventory and Improvement of the Legal and Contractual Framework, during high-level talks in Tashkent.

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, concluded their negotiations in Tashkent with the signing of two important documents aimed at enhancing bilateral relations.
"Together with my esteemed colleague, H.E. Rashid Meredov, we signed two significant documents between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan," wrote Bakhtiyor Saidov on his official Telegram channel.
In addition to the signed agreements, the two sides exchanged verbal notes confirming mutual support for each other’s candidacies in international organizations, further underscoring their commitment to strengthened cooperation on the global stage.
