Prime Minister of Pakistan to arrive in Uzbekistan on an official visit
The program for Shahbaz Sharif’s two-day visit to Uzbekistan has been released.

At the invitation of Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif will visit Uzbekistan for an official visit on February 25-26, as reported by the presidential press service.
The upcoming high-level talks will focus on further development and expansion of Uzbek-Pakistani strategic partnership and multifaceted cooperation.
The agenda will include discussions on joint plans to increase mutual trade volumes, enhance transportation connectivity, and unlock transit potential. Cooperation projects in the fields of light and leather industries, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, electrical engineering, and other sectors of the economy will also be promoted.
Additionally, the discussions will cover the activation of cultural, humanitarian, and tourism relations. An exchange of views on pressing international and regional issues will take place.
At the end of the summit, a Joint Declaration and a number of bilateral documents are expected to be adopted.
As part of the business program of the visit, the leaders will also participate in the Uzbekistan-Pakistan Business Forum.
