"Open Budget" 2025: Public voting is now open

The Ministry of Economy and Finance has announced the start of the voting phase for the first season of the 2025 "Open Budget," which will remain open until March 20 at 23:59.

Citizens can vote using one of the available convenient methods, including:

- The "Open Budget" portal’s website;
- The portal’s mobile application (available for Android and iOS);
- The official Telegram bot.

For the first season of the 2025 "Open Budget," project submissions took place from February 1 to February 20. Projects that passed the selection stage will be open for voting from March 11 to March 20. The winners will be announced on March 21, coinciding with the Navruz holiday.

Earlier, changes were made to the existing procedure for conducting the "Open Budget" process based on a decision by the Senate Council. According to the decision, district and city budgets will allocate sufficient funds for at least 10 and at most 30 projects each year. If more than 10 projects are selected, funds will be distributed based on the proportion of the population in the respective district or city.
