According to the “Dunyo” news agency, these individuals had entered Saudi Arabia on tourist visas but remained in the country to seek employment without obtaining the required permits. Among those detained were also minors from Uzbekistan.

The embassy urged citizens planning to travel abroad to thoroughly research the laws of their destination country in advance, respect local traditions and norms, and secure all necessary documentation for legal employment.

“Additionally, we recommend learning the basics of the host country’s language to navigate various situations. If you encounter difficulties in Saudi Arabia, you can reach out to the embassy in Riyadh or the Consulate General in Jeddah,” the statement read.
