Uzbekistan Airways suspends boarding of Umrah visa holders on Tashkent–Jeddah flights
Due to the start of the Hajj 2025 program, all passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia on flights operated by Uzbekistan Airways must hold a return ticket to Tashkent and leave the country no later than April 30.

Starting April 14, Uzbekistan Airways has suspended the boarding of passengers holding Umrah visas on flights operating on the Tashkent–Jeddah–Tashkent route. This was announced by the airline’s press service.
According to official information, all passengers flying to Saudi Arabia on Uzbekistan Airways flights are required to have a return ticket to Tashkent and must leave Saudi territory by no later than April 30, 2025.
“In the event passengers are found to have remained in Saudi Arabia beyond April 30, liability for any resulting fines will fall on either the travel agent or the passenger,” the airline stated.
According to a directive from the General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia, all Uzbekistan Airways flights on the Tashkent–Jeddah–Tashkent route will be completely suspended from April 30, 2025.
