Mild tremors felt in Uzbekistan after 6.3 magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan 

A 6.3-magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan and was felt in several regions of Uzbekistan with an intensity of 3 to 4 points.

On April 16 at 04:14 Tashkent time, an earthquake occurred in the Takhar region of Afghanistan.

According to the Republican Center for Seismic Prognostic Monitoring, the quake had a felt intensity of 4 points at the epicenter.

The epicenter was located 570 kilometers southeast of Tashkent, with a magnitude of 6.3 and a depth of 100 kilometers.

The earthquake's intensity across various regions of Uzbekistan was as follows:

•  Fergana region: 3 points, 480 km
•  Samarkand region: 3 points, 484 km
•  Jizzakh region: 3 points, 485 km
