Applications will be open to investors who commit at least $300,000 to the charter capital of Kazakh companies or invest in locally issued securities.

"The issuance of 'golden visas' creates a favorable and predictable environment for foreign investors, providing legal guarantees and strengthening trust in Kazakhstan’s investment climate," the Foreign Ministry stated.

Officials emphasized that the program is designed to foster a welcoming and stable atmosphere for international investors. According to the ministry, the new initiative aims to offer legal assurances and enhance confidence in the country’s investment environment.

It is worth noting that Uzbekistan is also planning to introduce its own version of the "golden visa" starting June 1. To qualify, applicants must contribute $200,000, plus an additional $100,000 for each family member.
