Bicycle producing factory launched in Namangan

On February 27, Uzavtosanoat launched production of bicycles at “Norin Moto Bike” in the city of Naryn, Namangan region, the company's website reports.

The initial production volume is about 150 thousand units per year with a phased increase. The project is included in the Investment Program for 2019, it is planned to attract $200 thousand investments.

Lifan Group Co. Ltd acts as a supplier of components for manufactured products.

At the first phase, the company will manufacture only bicycles, but in the future it will start producing motorcycles, tricycles, scooters and mopeds.

Employees of the plant were trained in China. The new plant made it possible to employ over 150 people in the locality with a further increase to 500 jobs.
