Newly appointed US Ambassador presents credentials to Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed US Ambassador, Daniel Rosenblum, the MFA said.

At the meeting, prospects for deepening Uzbek-American relations were discussed in the context of implementing the agreements reached during the official visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the United States in May 2018.

The parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing bilateral cooperation in political, trade, economic, investment, cultural, humanitarian and other fields.

The meeting also addressed selected issues of an international and regional nature.
