Football match conflict ends tragically in Fergana 

In Fergana, a 26-year-old farm worker had a quarrel with an 18-year-old guy on the football stadium and hit him on the face, the Interior Ministry press service said.

“On August 7, in the Fergana district of the Fergana region, a 26-year-old worker of the farm “Abdukodir Diyorbek Zamini” hit an 18-year-old teenage on the face during a quarrel on a football stadium. As a result, the young man collapsed and hit his head on the ground,” the Interior Ministry said.

The victim was hospitalized. Despite the medical assistance provided, he died in the hospital. The farm worker is detained.

A criminal case has been initiated on the above fact under the relevant article of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan. An investigation is underway.
