Abdulaziz Kamilov to visit Turkmenistan

Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan, the press service of the MFA said.

“On August 16, Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulaziz Kamilov will pay a working visit to Turkmenistan to participate in the next round of inter-MFA consultations at the level of heads of foreign affairs agencies of the two countries,” the statement reads.

It should be recalled that the presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, in 2017, signed an agreement on strategic partnership between the two countries. In addition, the parties agreed to take the necessary measures to bring the volume of trade to $500 million by 2020.
