Uzbekistan Airways now owns a business jet

The national air carrier of Uzbekistan has launched its first business jet, the Pilatus PC-12.
This is the first aircraft of this type in the company’s fleet. The air carrier characterizes the event as “the beginning of development” of business aviation in Uzbekistan. The plane can carry up to 8 passengers.
Uzbekistan Airways did not specify on what conditions it received the jet and whether it was a purchase, lease or rent. Also, the company has not yet disclosed plans to further expand its business aircraft fleet.
