Shavkat Mirziyoyev: Newly installed communication stations in rural areas will be exempt from property and land taxes
During the videoconference meeting on improving the service sector, the President focused on tourism and hotels.
It is reported that the new hotels and resorts will pay property and land taxes at a rate 2 times lower for three years.
In addition, a special tax regime has been introduced for the tourism industry, with a three-year turnover tax and social tax at a rate of 1%, and property and land taxes at 1% of the calculated amount. As part of family business programs, soft loans will also be provided for the organization and repair of guest houses. 500 billion soums will be allocated for this purpose next year.
“Within a month, a list of districts and cities where the special tax regime will be introduced should be formed and attached to the draft resolution. In addition, the newly installed communication stations in the villages will be exempt from property and land taxes,” Kun.uz correspondent quoted the President as saying.
Furthermore, telecom operators will be given the right to share base stations to increase mobile and high-speed internet coverage.
