Loan agreements worth $2.3 billion signed with international financial institutions
In total, $7.4 billion of foreign investment was disbursed in the first half of the year.
In the first half of this year, loan agreements were concluded for a total of $2.3 billion under 17 projects with international financial institutions and foreign state financial organizations. This was announced by the head of the Strategic Development and Analysis Department Dadakhon Jumaniyozov.
He informed about the results of the activities of the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade for the first half of 2023.
It was noted that in January-June of this year, $7.4 billion of foreign investment was disbursed.
$2.9 billion of foreign direct investment and loans were disbursed through sectoral and $4 billion – through regional projects.
In January-June of this year, it was planned to create 41,548 new jobs by launching 2,706 projects worth $1.6 billion, but in practice, 4,523 projects worth $2.9 billion were launched, as a result of which 73,654 (32,029 more) new jobs were created.
