Later, the Ministry of Culture and Sports (MCS) commented on the above information, Tengrinews reports.
“The Ministry of Culture and Sports pays special attention to the development of football in Kazakhstan and provides comprehensive support in this direction. However, we note that the issue of hosting the World Cup in Kazakhstan is not being considered, therefore, we are not planning to apply for bidding,” the ministry reported.
