Main cause of human death in Uzbekistan announced
About 80,000 citizens died in 6 months of this year. Statistics related to human deaths were published in the country.

According to the Statistics Agency, 79,800 citizens died in Uzbekistan in January-June 2023.
Of these, the number of men was 44,100, the number of women was 35,700, the number of deaths was 42,400 in urban areas, and 37,400 in rural areas.
Diseases of the circulatory system (51.9 percent) caused the death of Uzbeks. 11.5% of citizens dies from diseases of respiratory organs, 9.5% - from tumors, 4.4% - from diseases of digestive organs, 3.6% - from accidents, poisoning and injuries, 1.4% - from infectious and parasitic diseases, 17.7% - from other diseases.
When the deceased were divided by age groups, 23.8% were under working age, 20.7% were working age, and 55.5% were older than working age.
It is noted that the most deaths were observed in Samarkand region (9,053 people). Fergana (8,387 people) and Kashkadarya (8,039 people) regions took the next places.
