For reference, the Open Data Inventory (ODIN) promotes open data policies, identifies gaps in official statistics, improves communication between national statistical agencies and data users, and evaluates transparency.

Compared to the end of 2023, when Uzbekistan ranked 30th globally with a score of 70 points among 195 countries, the nation has risen 18 positions.

The National Statistics Committee launched the integrated information system portal "Statistics" (SIAT) as part of efforts to enhance accessibility and transparency.

Currently, the SIAT system provides users with access to over 2,900 official statistical indicators in three languages. These indicators can be downloaded for free in five different formats, complete with accompanying metadata to ensure ease of use.

The launch of this portal and its capabilities have been positively assessed by experts at Open Data Watch, playing a significant role in Uzbekistan's improved ranking in the Open Data Inventory.
