Gijduvan kebab patented
The Gijduvan district governor said that anyone who wants to cook Gijduvan kebab must get permission from the authorities and pay a fee. However, the Ministry of Justice noted that no permission or payment is required for this.
At the event held in the Gijduvan district of Bukhara region, district governor Sherzod Ashurov demanded that if someone wants to cook and sell Gijduvan kebab, he should ask the district administration for permission and pay the fee.
“India has sent its spaceship to the moon. I said yesterday: We, residents of Gijduvan, will also reach the moon. There we will cook Gijduvan kebab,” he added.
Commenting on the statement of the governor on patenting the food, the Ministry of Justice said that the kebab is registered only to denote its geographical location, and no one is required to get any permission or pay a fee to cook Gijduvan kebab.
