Uzbekistan Airways comments on collision of a bus and a plane at Tashkent airport
As a result of the collision, the nose cone of the Airbus A320 aircraft was damaged.
It was previously reported that on November 17, at Tashkent airport, a ground service bus hit the nose cone of an Airbus A320 aircraft.
As the press service of Uzbekistan Airways noted, that day at the capital’s airport, after flight HY054 Urgench - Tashkent, the company specialists were preparing the aircraft for the next flight.
The driver of the airport bus, violating the rules of movement on the territory of the airfield, collided with the aircraft, as a result of which the nose cone of Airbus A320 was damaged.
“Specialists from Uzbekistan Airways Technics carried out repair work. On November 18, the Airbus A320 Neo was cleared for flights and at 14:30 began operating flights according to the schedule,” the airline noted.
