Uzbekistan appointed ambassadors to Kuwait and Qatar

By the decision of the Council of the Senate of Oliy Majlis, Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kuwait and Qatar were appointed.

Ayubkhon Yunusov will head the diplomatic mission in Kuwait.

Previously, Ayubkhon Yunusov worked at the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the city of Jeddah.

Ashraf Khodjayev will head the diplomatic mission in Qatar.

Prior to his appointment, Ashraf Khodjayev worked as the head of the Main Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation (GUVES) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

It should be recalled that the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the capital of Qatar, Doha, opened in December last year.
