Bayern Munich showing interest in Uzbek player Abbosbek Fayzullaev
The German football giant Bayern Munich has set its sights on the 20-year-old Uzbek midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullaev, following his impressive performance for the Uzbekistan U23 team.
Russian football agent Anton Smirnov reported on his Telegram channel that Bayern Munich has taken notice of Fayzullaev's skills on the field with the Uzbekistan U23 squad, catching the eye of the club's scouts. Fayzullaev has been on the radar of the German club since showcasing his talent in recent games.
Abbosphbek Fayzullaev, the midfielder for the national team of Uzbekistan, made headlines after his successful spell with the youth national team, which led to his participation in the World Cup. In August 2023, after helping his team become champions in Asia, he transferred from Pakhtakor to CSKA with a transfer fee of 500,000 euros. Over the past six months, he has been named the best player of the month four times at his Moscow club, scoring 2 goals and making 9 assists in 18 games.
Fayzullaev's transfer value is currently estimated at 4 million euros by the Transfermarkt website.
Previously, Portuguese football agent Paulo Barbosa expressed that Fayzullaev was ready to make the move to one of Europe's top five leagues. Bayern Munich's interest indicates Fayzullaev's rising profile and potential imminent transition to a more competitive European league.
