Unified tariff set for Tashkent's intercity electric trains
The fare will be the same for all passengers, regardless of the distance traveled along the route.
Starting from March 20, a unified tariff for electric train travel on the Tashkent railway network will be instituted, JSC Uzbekistan Railways reports.
It is noted that passengers will no longer pay different fares for each zone but will make a single payment based on the route without any zoning considerations.
For instance, the unified tariff for the "Tashkent – Bekabad – Tashkent" route is now set at 12,000 UZS, while the "Tashkent – Khodjikent – Tashkent" route is set at 10,000 UZS. One can familiarize themselves with the tariffs through the provided schedule.
Additionally, passengers who opt to pay electronically (ATTO) can do so at a rate 500 UZS less than the payment made in cash.
