New governor appointed to Chirchik city
Murod Abdurakhimov was appointed governor of Chirchik by the decision of the Chirchik city council of people’s deputies.
Murod Abdurakhimov was born in Chirchik in 1986. In 2008, he graduated from the Tashkent State University of Economics.
He started working as a teacher of economics at the “Baytkurgan Service and Economy” Vocational College of Kibray district.
He also worked as a specialist, chief specialist, and head of department at the Tashkent regional admnistration, later at the “Uzkommunkhizmat” agency, at the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Prior to his appointment, he was working in a responsible position in the Cabinet of Ministers.
Previously, it was reported that former Chirchik city governor Davron Khidoyatov was transferred to another job.
