AFC U-23 Asian Cup: Uzbekistan's Olympic squad gears up for final against Japan

The U-23 national football team of Uzbekistan will compete against Japan's national team for the championship title in the final stage of the Asian Cup.

Today, on May 3, the final stage of the AFC U-23 Asian Cup, being held in Qatar, will take place. The Uzbekistan Olympic national team, led by Timur Kapadze, will face the Japanese Olympic national team on the pitch.

The match will start at 20:30 Tashkent time at the Jassim Bin Hamad stadium.

It should be recalled that in the semi-finals Uzbekistan defeated Indonesia (2:0) and Japan beat Iraq (2:0).

So far, the national team of Uzbekistan has not conceded a single goal in the whole tournament. Kapadze’s disciples scored 14 goals in total.
