Solar panels to be installed in Andijan
Yesterday, the CIS Executive Committee hosted a meeting between the Secretary General of the Commonwealth Sergey Lebedev and the delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Andijan regional governor Shukhrat Abdurakhmonov.
According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary General Ilkhom Nematov, Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Business Center Anatoly Kazakov, also deputy governor of Andijan region Botir Khamroyev, advisor to the governor of Andijan region on foreign economic relations Ostanakul Mirzayev.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of direct contacts between the Andijan region and Russian regions, as well as issues of developing cooperation in the areas of business and investment.
The delegation of Uzbekistan also has meetings planned at the State Atomic Energy Corporation Rosatom, the Russian oil and gas company Zarubezhneft, where a Memorandum on the construction of solar panels in Andijan will be signed, as well as a trip to the Irkutsk region to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation.
