Traffic accident claims lives of six people in Navoi

A terrible accident occurred in Navoi, as a result of which several people died, Kun.uz source reports.

According to the source, the accident occurred on June 9 at about 15:00 on the Navbakhor-Nurota highway. The Gentra driver collided with an Onix moving in the oncoming lane when he tried to overtake the Damas in front.

As a result of the accident, 5 family members traveling in the Onix car were killed: a 36-year-old man, his 58-year-old mother, his wife, a 2-year-old son and a 2-month-old daughter. The driver of the Gentra car was also killed.

A preliminary investigation is currently underway.

Earlier, Kun.uz reported that as a result of an accident in the Jondor district (Bukhara region), three people died due to a Nexia tire burst.
