Uzbekistan introduces special license plates for electric motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters
Additionally, ambulances will also have distinctive license plates.

On July 17, a resolution "On Introducing Amendments and Additions to Certain Decisions of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan Aimed at Ensuring Road Safety on Highways" was adopted.
According to the resolution:
- Traffic rules will be updated to include the movement order for electric motorcycles, scooters, and personal mobility devices, along with definitions and related road signs for these vehicles;
- Age limits and the procedure for obtaining a driver's license to operate electric motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters will be established;
- Practical exams on providing first aid will be introduced as part of the training and retraining of drivers of motor vehicles and urban electric transport;
- Distinctive license plates will be introduced for ambulances, electric motorcycles, mopeds, and scooters.
