License plate sales tripled in H1 2024, reaching 426.2 billion UZS
In the first half of this year, the volume of sales of license plates on the commodity and raw materials exchange tripled and amounted to 426.2 billion UZS.
From January to June, 104.9 thousand license plates were purchased through the electronic trading system avtoraqam.uzex.uz. The sale of license plates increased threefold both in quantity and total value, Spot writes with reference to the agency.
Moreover, 97% of the sold license plates were bought by individuals, while 3% were bought by legal entities. The minimum price of a license plate was 1.7 million UZS, while the maximum price exceeded 500 million UZS.
The most expensive license plate was purchased by a legal entity from Tashkent for 517.14 million UZS. Compared to the starting price, the cost of the license plate increased by two-thirds. The second most expensive license plate was sold on July 10 for 508 million UZS.
In 2023, 87 thousand license plates were sold on the commodity and raw materials exchange for 396.1 billion UZS. The most expensive license plate was bought by a legal entity for 450 million UZS, slightly surpassing the record set in 2021.
In the first quarter of this year, the volume of sales of license plates on the commodity and raw materials exchange tripled to 212.2 billion UZS.
