Uzbekistan and Oman discuss prospects for investment cooperation
Uzbekistan's Ambassador Abdusalom Khatamov met with the President of the Oman Investment Authority, Abdulsalam Al-Murshidi.
The Omani side highly praised the economic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan. The parties expressed satisfaction with the Oman Investment Authority’s contributions to the daily development of relations with Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that the activities of the Uzbek-Omani Investment Company in Tashkent are evidence of the high level of investment cooperation between the two countries.
It is noteworthy that the Uzbek-Omani Investment Company in Tashkent is effectively implementing projects in Uzbekistan across more than 10 sectors. The Omani side has established investment companies of this format with only 5 countries. Thus, the establishment of cooperation with Uzbekistan reflects the high level of trust the Sultanate of Oman has in the investment environment created for foreign investors in Uzbekistan.
