Saudi airline Flyadeal launches flights from Jeddah to Namangan
Saudi Arabia's low-cost carrier Flyadeal has inaugurated regular flights between Jeddah and Namangan.
The maiden flight took off on January 15, 2025, with an Airbus A330 carrying 350 passengers. Upon arrival at Namangan Airport at 10:21 AM local time, the aircraft was greeted with a traditional water cannon salute, signaling the commencement of this new route.
According to Uzbekistan Airports, Flyadeal will operate flights on this route three times a week – on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
Initially scheduled to launch in December 2024, the service was delayed to January. The airline previously introduced flights connecting Jeddah with Tashkent and announced plans for a new route linking Medina and the Uzbek capital.
Flyadeal received clearance from the Uzbekistan Civil Aviation Agency to operate these routes on November 14, 2024. At that time, the company stated it would use Airbus A320 aircraft for the Jeddah-Tashkent and Medina-Tashkent routes.
