Saudi Arabia launches e-visa service for citizens of Uzbekistan
Saudi Arabia has opened the possibility for citizens of 8 more countries, including Uzbekistan, to obtain a visa to enter the Kingdom through the e-visa portal. Citizens of these countries can also obtain visas at the Kingdom's ports or borders.
Citizens of Albania, Maldives, Azerbaijan, Georgia, South Africa, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan can now apply for an e-visa to Saudi Arabia and visit the Kingdom. The number of countries whose citizens can use this service has reached 57.
The Saudi Arabia e-visa is a one-year, multiple-entry visa that allows tourists to stay in the country for up to 90 days.
E-visa allows tourists to travel in the country, visit family and relatives as a guest and perform Umrah.
It is not possible to perform Hajj with this visa. Also, e-visa does not give the right to work and live in the Kingdom. When the e-visa expires, it can be issued for a new period.
Reportedly, the visa costs 550 riyals (around $146).
