Company representatives recently met with a delegation from Singapore Changi Airport, the operator of one of the world's leading aviation hubs. During the meeting, both sides discussed prospects for establishing direct air service between the two cities.

Changi Airport representatives expressed strong interest in launching the route, citing growing demand among Singaporean tour operators for travel to Uzbekistan.

The talks also highlighted Tashkent’s strategic role as a transit hub. The Singaporean side noted the Uzbek capital’s expanding flight network to European cities, emphasizing its importance for connecting passenger flows between Europe and Asia.

Both parties confirmed their commitment to further cooperation and agreed to work on logistical and marketing aspects, as well as clarifying regulatory procedures necessary for launching the flight route.

Last week, Uzbekistan Airports also held negotiations with Mongolian airline Hunnu Air, which announced plans to launch Tashkent–Ulaanbaatar flights starting in September this year.
