Uzbekistan Airways performs its first direct flight to Phu Quoc
The company has scheduled 18 flights until March 2023 but may increase the number of flights if demand increases.
Uzbekistan Airways has made its first direct flight to Phu Quoc Island in the southern part of Vietnam, VnExpress writes.
The airline’s plane landed at Phu Quoc International Airport on the morning of November 1. It brought 172 Uzbek tourists who will stay on the island for the next nine days.
Until March, Uzbekistan Airways plans to operate 18 flights to Phu Quoc. According to the tourism department of the Kiên Giang province (to which the island belongs), depending on demand, the number of flights can be increased.
Earlier it was reported that the Vietnamese low-cost airline VietJet Air would launch direct flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Tashkent from December 15.
